Lakes Buildbase in Belper has relocated to a new, purpose-built site in Belper. The business has moved about half a mile from its former site in Campbell Street to spacious new premises on Goods Road Industrial Estate, just off the A6. “We’re a well-known traditional local builders merchant and the new site will take the business forward,” says manager Mario Jakeway. “It’s an impressive 1.3-acre site and we have been able to add many new services to give our loyal customers an even better deal.” There is a large self-selection area and building sales counter, a plumbing and heating counter, bathroom and tile showroom with the latest ranges, timber and sheet materials store and a fully-equipped mill. Outside a new hard landscaping area has been built and the branch has plenty of parking for customer collections.
