Buckingham Buildbase in Wharf House Yard, Stratford Road, has had substantial investment to smarten up the half-acre site. The shop area has been redesigned and rebuilt to create a light and more spacious interior. New product ranges have been added such as protective clothing – including high visibility jackets – and more extensive Henderson Hardware and Fischer Fixings displays.

The popular decorating centre has also been expanded. New additions include sprayable fence colours in the timber treatment section. Outside the yard and one-way system has been resurfaced while a new perimeter fence has been added.

Manager Lynn Fleckney heads up the team of 11 staff. Assistant manager, Kevin McDermott, has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry.
