Castle Buildbase at Crewe trades from a one-acre site in West Street. Nick Howcroft, now Buildbase Regional Director for the Greater Manchester region, originally set up the business in Bolton in 1984 when he was 17 years old and opened the Crewe depot in 1995. As well as the full range of building materials Castle is well-known as a brick specialist with over 300 lines available.
