Located on a 3.6 acre site in Calne we supply heavyside, timber and
plumbing to both trade and retail customers. We also specialise in
landscaping products with good stocks and displays for fencing, driveways,
decking and patios. The branch is well located on the main Oxford
road through Calne and we have easy access from the M4 and A4 roads.
We offer a delivery service that includes Marlborough, Devizes, Chippenham
and Wootton Bassett.
MELKSHAM BUILDBASE - MELKSHAM
Melksham Buildbase opens its doors for business in mid January 2007. Buildbase, the UK’s number one builders merchant, has chosen the Wiltshire town as an important location for its newest branch.
The depot is located in Lysander Road on the Bower Hill Industrial Estate, just south of Melksham. The one-and-a-half acre site has been completely transformed to create a full service builders merchant.
The large trade stores area includes ironmongery, plumbing and heating, kitchens and bathrooms, decorating, workwear and tools. There is a dedicated Hirebase on site with equipment ranging from hand tools to 3T diggers and dumpers. In the warehouse and yard area there are huge stocks of timber, bricks, aggregates and rainwater goods. A hard landscaping is being built and there’s plenty of space for customer parking.
Barclay Matthews is manager and heads up a nine-strong team of staff.
WELLINGTON
BUILDBASE - WELLINGTON
Ideally located on the southern edge of the town this
purpose built branch developed on a 2 acre site in Bagley Rd offers
an extensive range of timber an general building materials to the
local builders and general public of Wellington. The branch which
opened in January 2005 has proved popular with customers who are keen
to avoid the hassle and congestion of driving to Taunton, so if you
are collecting goods or require a delivery we are here for you. Our

YEOVIL
BUILDBASE - YEOVIL
Yeovil Buildbase opens its doors for business in May 2007 and will be the company’s twelfth greenfield site. The two-acre branch can be found at Garrett Road on the Lynx Trading Estate to the west of Yeovil. The large trade stores area and plumbing and heating counter. In the warehouse and yard area there are huge stocks of timber, bricks, aggregates and rainwater goods. The kitchen and bathroom showroom has over twenty fully-tiled displays and the branch has a Hirebase operation. Manager Nick Jean has plenty of industry experience and local knowledge. He and assistant manager Steve van Holland head up the team of 18 staff.
