Buildbase have agreed the fifth successive year of sponsorship with Coventry Buildbase Bees, making this the longest team sponsorship in their history.
After the achievements of 2007 when the Buildbase Bees won a magnificent treble including the Elite League Championship, the Knock Out Cup and the Craven Shield and as a result of having to rebuild a team to a reduced starting points average (as enforced by the B.S.P.A on all teams), 2007 may be difficult to repeat. Chris Harris, winner of the British Grand Prix in 2007 will be the Bees captain this year as his England team partner Scott Nicholls (last years captain) has had to be loaned out to Eastbourne under the reduced average ruling. However, both riders remain Coventry Buildbase Bees assets and will represent England in the World Individual Grand Prix Series.
Buildbase have also agreed team sponsorship of the Glasgow Tigers for 2008 who ride in the Speedway Premier League. Several individual riders are sponsored in the Elite League, Premier League and Conference League of this exciting and competitive sport. Speedway appeals to families of all ages and continues to reach out across all nationalities.
Once again Buildbase sponsored the opening meeting of the season for Birmingham Speedway Club, which proved to be a great way to kick start the 2008 season.
We wish the Coventry Buildbase Bees continued success for 2008.
