Eaves lintels, designed to provide support over openings, are high quality grade galvanised steel. Eaves lintels must be positioned to ensure that the masonry is built against the vertical upstand of the lintel. Masonry should be bedded on mortar and all perpendicular joints filled with mortar.
Requires fully bonded masonry and a continuous wall plate - a continuous timber wall plate must extend along the masonry above the lintel. Eaves Lintel must be propped during installation to achieve loads and facilitate speed of construction.
Buildbase work with Keystone and Birtley to supply eaves lintels in both Standard Duty and Stainless Steel. We can also source specialist items and project quantities available in various lengths and sizes.
For your other projects please view our other lintels for cavity walls and solid walls. You can also view our range of concrete lintels.
For more information on our lintels please check our how to guide. However, before ordering a lintel, it is essential that you speak with the project’s structural engineer to advise on the correct lintel for the job.
