FA BUILDBASE BURSARY
BUILDBASE NON-LEAGUE CLUB BURSARY
Championing non-league clubs and building a better community, in 2016 we launched the Buildbase Club Renovation Programme and by 2018 selected clubs competing in The Buildbase FA Vase and The Buildbase FA Trophy had been awarded £200,000 worth of building supplies to help them renovate their club facilities.
Since 2019, to give more non-league clubs the opportunity to renovate their club and grounds, we launched the Buildbase £100K Transfer Deal in January 2019 awarding £25,000 worth of building materials to 4 clubs each season. Projects pitched benefit not just the players and fans, but the community too.
In 2021, following the Coronavirus pandemic, we launch the Buildbase £50K Community Club Award, providing two clubs who have gone above and beyond to support their communities throughout 2020 the chance to win £25,000 worth of building materials for club renovations, to improve the facilities and accessibility for the people in their local area.
For 2022, Buildbase offered even more clubs the opportunity to renovate their facilities. As previous winners often refurbished a kitchen or changing room / toilet area, we launched the Buildbase Non-League Club Renovation giving £10,000 worth of building materials to 10 clubs so they could transform their changing rooms/toilets or kitchen/bar area. This gave clubs the focus to invest in spaces to improve the their offering to women and girls teams, disabled players and spectators, and community and charity events.
