A high performance mulch from our 'deluxe' range suitable for a wide range of smaller-scale professional and domestic landscape applications, where a neat, decorative finish is required

Features and Benefits:

• Suppresses weed growth replacing expensive shrubbed hoeing and chemical weed-killing
• Conserves soil moisture, minimising drought stress and plant death and eliminating the need for excessive plant watering
• Substantially enhances the visual appearance of new and existing planted areas
• Successfully used for many years on sites throughout the UK and proved to perform extremely well
• Provides an insulating layer, substantially reducing the effects of ground freezing and over-heating during extreme weather conditions
• Slowly improves the soil's organic content, as it decomposes into the soil
• Easy to lay and install, using simple tools and requiring little subsequent maintenance
• Allows clean access onto mulched area for plant pruning
• Nominal particle size range 5 to 35mm
• Rich mid-brown in colour
• The product shall consist of matured Pine Bark with an even nominal particle size distribution of 5-35mm with minimal dust and fines and less than 5% wood content.
• The pH to be between 4.5 and 5.5.
• The product shall be pest, disease and weed free and not have been treated with Methyl Bromide or any additives.
• The product shall have been tested in accordance with the requirements of BS 4790:1987, for fire resistance and be classified as having low potential to burn
• Bulk bag (approx. dimension: 75 cm Width x 85 cm Breadth x 95 Height)
