Masking Tape

Masking Tape

Masking tape is a paper-based tape with a light adhesive. It can be easily and smoothly applied and is usually thin enough to tear instead of cutting when you get to your desired length. After you’re finished the tape can be removed easily without leaving any sticky residue or damage to the area. It’s a must have product for painters and decorators alike for keeping edges sharp and preventing paint from bleeding into areas where it should not be. For example, masking tape is often used to protecting skirting board, architrave and electrical outlets from paint coverage.
At Buildbase we stock a wide range of masking tape by trust industry leading trade names such as Suregraft, Tembe and Shurtape. Our Suregraft Masking Tape comes in a variety of widths from 25mm, 38mm, 50mm and 75mm. All of these widths are available as a 50M length.
We also carry the Tembe Low Tac Hippo Masking Tape which measures 50mm in width and 50M in length. This product is specifically designed for delicate surfaces such as freshly painted and plastered walls or wallpaper. It’s easy to apply and remove and does not curl or lift when applied.
Lastly, we have the Shurtape Multi Surface Frog Tape which measures 36mm in width and 41.1M in length.
For your other filler and preparation projects we also stock a wide range of caulk filler, interior filler and masonry filler.
