At Buildbase we aim to offer a comprehensive range of both steel frame insulation and timber frame insulation. We work closely with Knauf Insulation to offer premium quality products which are easy to handle and install whilst being affordable.

Earthwool FactoryClad Rolls are non-combustible and are a high performance glass mineral wool product which is manufactured with Ecose technology, the binder additive which does not include toxic phenol and formaldehyde chemicals. This makes it more energy efficient to manufacture and easier to handle. The rolls are designed to be used in built-up metal roofs and walls to provide a combination of fire, acoustic and thermal performance

Earthwool FrameTherm Rolls are manufactured to the same high standard as the FactoryClad rolls and also incorporate the Ecose binder. However, these are specifically designed for use in timber framed buildings where they can be used as timber frame wall insulation or on pitched roofs at rafter level. They offer very good thermal and sound absorption properties and accommodate movement in timber to ensure that they maintain a good fit as the building ages.
