Speed up the laying and connecting of underground pipe using JG Speedfit’s medium density polyethylene (MDPE) fittings. Each fitting features an advanced collet with stainless steel teeth to provide a tight and secure grip on the pipe. Speedfit underground fittings for MRS PE80 metric size polyethylene cold water service pipes are designed for the connection of:

• Blue MDPE pipes to BS EN 12201 - used for underground service pipes for potable water
• Black MDPE pipes to BS 6730 - used for conveyance of potable water above ground or for industrial services above or below ground.
• Blue pipe to BS EN 12201-2, 20mm PN16, 25mm and 32mm PN12.5

The connections are fully demountable, ensuring the system is easy to work with when in the ground, for maintenance work and to alter an existing set-up. Using a simple push-fit action, the range is designed for long term performance and includes adaptors for screwed pipe, copper, and imperial sized MDPE.
